Alice Tinker - Caroline Handley

Alice is the verger of the Parish Church of St Barnabus. Not over-blessed in the brain department, but a great fan of the Wombles!

Alice is played by Caroline, a long-standing Gasleak member, who says "I have been with the Gasleak company since I was 14 and have previously danced with the Misuda academy of Dance. I have been in many productions ranging from 'The Pirates of Penzance' to 'Cabaret' and 'Oh what a lovely war'. My first big role was as Dorothy in 'Thoroughly Modern Millie' and I thoroughly enjoyed playing Evette in 'Allo Allo'.

This role calls for a 'dizzy blonde', for which I think I may have an advantage in practising for the character !"
David Horton - Alan Barton

Autocratic local big-wig, Chairman of the Parish Council, ever so slightly right-wing, chauvinist and sexist!

David is played by Alan Barton, who has played in many recent productions, including Mr Peacock in the comedy 'Are You Being Served?'.

Other appearances have included chorus parts in Cabaret and Jesus Christ Superstar, General Haig in Oh What a Lovely War, Trevor Graydon in Thoroughly Modern Millie and Herr Flick in 'Allo 'Allo. Simon played the cheeky Mr Lucas in 'Are You Being Served? and says "playing the lovable, but slightly dim Hugo is not something that will need a lot of character research for me!".

Owen Newitt - Tom Marshall

Local farmer, a man of simple and basic tastes, most of which appear to involve animals!

Played by Tom, who has performed in many Gasleak shows, including Lord Shaftesbury in 'The Ragged Child'.

Graham says "I'm can't watch an episode of Dibley withough laughing all the way through it, so I'm not sure how I'll cope with our rehearsals!".
